Band is WeakJan 23, 2010 The watch itself is fine, but the band stretched and finally broke within 3 months. I was constantly trying to put it back on and finally it snapped!
Good functional watch, nice appearanceJan 07, 2010 I bought this watch 4 months ago, looking for a sports watch that would be durable and also stylish enough to wear every day.
So far, it's been great for me. The design is sleek and stylish for a sports watch, and I love the color! The Indiglo feature has proven to be very useful, and the watch is easy to set and work. Also, it's held up very well so far. Other people mentioned the watch face detaching from the band, but this has not been a problem for me. The only sign of wear and tear so far is a slight discoloration of the band on the sides where it's up against my skin. Other than that, the watch still looks and feels brand new.
I wear the watch for every day use, to have date/time and to have a timer, but I also wear it for running as well. The start, lap, stop, and reset buttons are all very easy to use and allow me to track my workout very closely with only the touch of a few buttons.
I haven't used the watch in water yet, so I can't speak to how it would hold up swimming. But for my purposes, this has been a great, functional watch. I would recommend it to anyone looking for similar use out of a watch.
Band Falls OffDec 02, 2009 I bought this watch because I liked the sleek design compared to the usual bulky sport watch. After only a few months the band began to separate from the watch, and was not repairable. I would not recommend this item.

Watch Strap WoeNov 15, 2009 I have owned some form of Ironman Timex for as long as I've been old enough to wear a watch. Every watch from this line has lasted for a minimum of 3 years before the strap breaks or I misplace it. I have small hands and wrists, so was excited about the slimmer look and thrilled with the standard Timex functions I'm so familiar with: the back-light, 50 lap recall, a daily alarm, and water resistance. I have a moderately active job, so I expected the inevitable scratches on the face of the watch, and the band fit snugly on my wrist without cutting off circulation or getting in the way of my daily activities. What I did not expect was the fact that the face started fogging up after 5 months. Soon after, the strap and the center piece separated, and no amount of super glue could put them back together with any satisfaction. I absolutely recommend Timex, but the new "Sleek" design isn't a good choice out of the product line.
Had one before. Still Like it!Oct 17, 2009 Just like my previous watch (besides color change). Good, reliable, easy to use. The band probably won't last more than 2 years, but I still think it's worth it. A warranty is available, but it applies to the watch itself (not the band).
